Mr. Charles E. Davis age 56 of Corbin, KY departed this life on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in the UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was the son of Hugh and Lorene Davis born to them on August 15, 1951 in Barbourville, KY. Mr. Davis believed in the Baptist faith. He was a truck driver and he loved to play Bingo. He is preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Lorene Davis, one brother Hugh Davis and one sister Reba Faye Daniel.
Left behind to mourn his passing is one daughter, Lynn Duker of St. Louis, Missouri, his girlfriend Shirley Rice of Corbin, KY, three brothers, Raymond Dean Davis and wife Loraine of Port Huron, Michigan, Linville Bill Davis and wife Kathy of Queen Creek, Arizona and Danny Lee Davis and wife Ida of Surprise, Arizona, one sister, Pamela Davis of Jackson, Michigan, one sister in law, Mildred Davis of Barbourville, four grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends are left to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Charles E. Davis will be conducted on Saturday February 2, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Fisher and Rev. Ronnie Fisher officiating. Pallbearers will be, Ken Smith, Michael Smith, Tommy Arnette, Freeway Fonz and his friends at the American Legion Post. Visitation will be on Friday evening at the Hampton Funeral Home from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
