Charlene Braden Ghent, age 37, of Goose Rock, KY, passed away June 16, 2013, at the Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, KY. Charlene was born on October 10, 1975 in Clay County, Kentucky to the late Lonnie Patrick and Nora Patrick of Goose Rock. Besides her mother Charlene is survived by her husband Jeffrey Ghent, three sons, Daniel, Lonnie, and Austin Braden all of Manchester, one daughter Samantha Braden of Manchester, three step sons Jonathan, Jeff, and Hayden Ghent, one step daughter April Ghent, one brother Arlie Patrick of Goose Rock, two sisters Lucy Melton of Manchester, and Laura Melton of Barbourville, one granddaughter Brooklyn Brumley, and five step grandchildren Megan, Skylar, McKenzie, Morgan, and Keaton Ghent.
Funeral services for Charlene Ghent will be conducted at 12 noon on Friday at the Holiness House of Prayer on Billy's Branch, with Rev. Henry Lloyd Deaton, Rev. Kenneth Hubbard, and Rev. Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Lost Creek Cemetery, at Elk Creek, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5PM Wednesday until the funeral hour of 12noon on Friday at the church.
