Ms. Cathy Jane Rhodes Hobbs age 47 of Barbourville, KY and passed away Saturday-June 2, 2007 at the University of Kentucky Hospital.
She was the daughter of Walter Dean Rhodes and Connie Justice born to them March 30, 1960 in Cincinnati, OH. Ms. Hobbs was a homemaker and believed in the Holiness faith. Ms. Hobbs was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Larry Eugene Justice, Dannie Rhodes, and Marty Joe Rhodes. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Husband: George Hobbs of Barbourville, Ky. Three daughters: Christina Marie Asher and fiancé David Washam of Flat Lick, Ky. Connie Ann Rhodes and fiancé Clinton Roark of Turkey Creek, Ky. Alice Nicole Grubb and husband Ronnie of Flat Lick, Ky. One son: Ronnie Lee Rhodes of New Orleans, La. One brother: Blufford Henson of Cincinnati, OH Two sisters: Alice Rhodes of Cincinnati, OH Kimberly Ann Johnson and husband Leslie of Elkhart, Ind. Ms. Hobbs also leaves behind 7 stepbrothers, 2 stepsisters and 7 granddaughters in addition to a host of family and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Ms. Hobbs will be conducted on Wednesday-June 6, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Eversole and Rev. Charles Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick, Ky. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
