Cassandra Messer

Mrs. Cassandra Eileen Messer age 41 of Barbourville passed away Friday at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was born on November 4, 1968 in Ann Arbor, MI to the union of David and Anna Cox Scroggins. She was a registered nurse at Baptist Health Care Center and a graduate of EKU. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, loved to work, watch TV, movies, dogs and taking care of people.

She was preceded in death by her mother Anna Scroggins.

Survivors include one son: David Wayne Messer of Barbourville, her farther David Scroggins of Green Road, one brother: Randy Porter Scroggins and Fiancé’ Melissa Stenhagen of Byron, MI, her fiancé Wayne Hoskins of Barbourville and all the special girls at Christian Home Health Care. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cassandra Eileen Messer will be conducted on Tuesday June 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lonnie Collette and Rev. Owen Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery at Golden’s Creek with Family and Friends serving as Pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
