Mrs. Carrie Crawford age 94 of Corbin, KY departed this life on Monday – April 12th, 2010 at her home. She was the widow of Clarence Crawford, and the daughter of Oscar & Dora (Patterson) Mooneyham born to them on April 28th, 1915 in Laurel County. Mrs. Crawford was a member of the Scalf Chapel Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting, and she was a great cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar & Dora Mooneyham, her husband Clarence Crawford, one son Walter Crawford, two daughters Ramona Crawford, and Roberta Messer, four brothers, R.C. Mooneyham, Raymond Mooneyham, Aubrey Mooneyham, James Mooneyham and two sisters Maggie Liford, and Honor Clark.
Left behind to mourn her passing is three sons Don Crawford of Dearborn, Michigan, Tommy Crawford & wife Charity of Lancaster, KY, and Estil Crawford & wife Lisa of Grant, Alabama, one daughter Corrine Smith of Corbin, KY, one sister Marie Sowders of Barbourville, one daughter-in-law Jane Crawford of Bellevue, Michigan, thirteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Crawford also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Crawford will be conducted on Wednesday – April 14th, 2010 at 1:00 at the Scalf Chapel Pentecostal Church at Bimble, KY, with Rev. Ted Satterfield & Rev. Jack Byrd and Jennifer West officiating. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Burial will follow in the Dozier Cemetery at Bimble, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends may call at the Scalf Chapel Pentecostal Church Tuesday evening form 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
