Carl G. Mills

Mr. Carl G. Mills, 65 of London, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, March 2, 2020 in the Pikeville Medical Center. He was the son of Chester Mills and Tina (Elam) Mills, born to them on January 30, 1955 in Heidrick, KY. Carl believed in the Baptist faith. He was a bricklayer and enjoyed being with his family, old cars, and loved animals.

He is preceded in death by his father, Chester Mills, stepfather, Haskel Jones, grandparents, Finley and Ida Johnson, and his sister Marlene Massey.

Survivors include, his wife, Sherry Tanner Mills, two daughters, Stephanie Mink and husband, Michael of Lily, Kentucky and Chassidy Nolen-Wilson and her husband Donny of Gray, Kentucky, a son Brandon Mills and his wife Linda Chaffin of Corbin, Kentucky, his mother Tina Jones, ten grandchildren, Lucas Patterson, Brantlee Wagers, Jacob Wagers, Reece Mink, Keanu Nolin, Kali Wilson, Peyton Wilson, Dylan Brown, Chase Brown and Noah Mills, and two brothers, Haskel Jones, Jr. and Johnny Jones, both of Gray, Kentucky. He also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Carl G. Mills will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday March 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Brandon Laws officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. He will be laid to rest in the New Mills Cemetery at Lily, Kentucky. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
