Mr. Bruce Gibson age 47 of Winchester, KY departed this life on Tuesday morning, July 26, 2016 at his home. He was born on September 7, 1968 and was the son of Fount Gibson and Maggie Pauline (Hatfield) Gibson. He was the husband of Pam (Vaughn) Gibson who he married on March 4, 1989.
Mr. Gibson attended the Grace Baptist Church in Winchester, KY and was a member of the KY National Guard where he had been a Master Sergeant, supply tech and a control specialist along with many other titles. He was also part of Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq in 2005-2006.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fount and Maggie Gibson, and two brothers, Keith and Paul Gibson.
Those left behind to mourn his passing, his loving wife, Pam Gibson and his two children, son Tyler Gibson and wife Amber and his daughter, Brittany Paige Gibson all of Winchester, KY, two brothers, Larry Wayne Gibson and wife Janet of Greenroad, KY and Ronnie Gibson and wife Karen of Rockholds, KY, seven sisters, Shirley Vaughn and husband Earl of Emminence, KY, Linda Crawford of Corbin, , KY, Barb Gibson of Dewitt, KY, Brenda Ward of Woolum, KY, Glenda Million and husband Terry of Annville, KY, Donna McVey and husband Dennis of Powell, TN and Sherry Gibson of Corbin, KY. He also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Bruce Gibson will be conducted on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pat Finley and Chaplain Draper officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends of Mr. Gibson. Burial will follow in the Betty Frost Cemetery at Woolum, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
