Bobby Hoskins Jr

Mr. Bobby Hoskins age 77 of Girdler, Ky. passed away on Friday March 21, 2014 in the Oak Tree Hospital in Corbin, Ky. He was the husband of Rosa Hoskins and the son of the late Robert and Cledith Elliott Hoskins born to them on February 7, 1937. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Gambrel, a brother, Bill Hoskins and a son Paul Cox and a grandson Steven Garland.
In addition to his wife he is also survived by two brothers, Archie Hoskins of Middlesboro, Ky. and Farmer Hoskins and wife Yvonne of Harlan, Ky., one son Dennis Hoskins of Girdler, Ky. and Angela Hoskins of London, Ky., four daughters, Sharon Gambrel of Pineville, Ky., Rhonda Jones of Girdler, Ky., Will Jones of Gray, Ky., Sheree Lawson and husband Tyrone of Girdler, Ky. and Mary McWilliams and husband Steve of London, Ky. eight grandchildren; Lasha Hoskins, Megan Cox, Rosie Hoskins, Robert Jones, Bobby Hoskins, Gabbie Cox, Summer Jones and Trya Lawson, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends left to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Bobby Hoskins will be conducted on Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Hampton funeral home with the Rev. Denvil Taylor and Rev. Herby Hoskins officiating. Interment will follow in the Hoskins family Cemetery at Girdler. Pallbearers will be Mark Hoskins, Steven McWilliams, Robert Jones, Will Jones, Justin Rose, Eddie Claxton, Alvin Jones and Sylvester "Rambo" Gray.
Friends will be received at the Hampton funeral home on Tuesday March 25, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the hour of service at 2:00 pm.
