Mr. Bill Hubbard age 92 of Artemus, Ky., departed this life on Wednesday, October 01, 2008 in the Middlesboro ARH Hospital. He was the widower of Lucy Hubbard and the son of the late Turner & Mellie Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard believed in the Holiness faith and enjoyed ginsenging and hunting. His wife, parents, four brothers Ike, Andrew, Jim, Milt Hubbard, and two sisters Cory Mills, Ethel Lewis preceded Mr. Hubbard in death.
Survivors include, four sons Burchell Hubbard and wife Ruah, Dewey Hubbard & wife Nequetta, Bill Hubbard, Jr. all of Artemus, and Michael Hubbard of Dewitt, seven daughters Irene Gray & husband Charlie of Himyar, Selda Ray Tuttle & husband Sam of Davis Bend, Hazel Hobbs & husband J.D. of Flat Lick, Thelma Black of Himyar, Lula Gambrel & husband David of Artemus, Emma Gray & husband Roy of Flat Lick and Roberta Gray & husband Herman of 229, 29 Grandchildren and 35 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Hubbard also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral Services for Mr. Bill Hubbard will be the conducted on Saturday – October 04, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Bright officiating. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Interment will be in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
