Mr. Bennie Gray age 83 of Hinkle, KY passed away Monday evening, November 19, 2007 in the Laurel Manor Healthcare Facility in New Tazewell, TN. He was the son of Hairm Gray and Bessie (Young) Gray born to them on May 29, 1924 in Jackson, KY. Mr. Gray was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Beech Springs Holiness Church. Mr. Gray loved to go to church, singing, trading cadillacs every year and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mildred Craig.
Survivors include, four brothers, Clarence Morris and wife Margaret of Corbin, KY, Thomas Gray and wife Della of Barbourville, Frank Gray and wife Alice of Goshen, Ohio and Charles Gray of Girdler, KY and one sister, Nellie Russell of Pine Island, Florida. Funeral services for Mr. Bennie Gray will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Stewart and Rev. Mike Wagers officiating. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Burial will be in the Hawn Cemetery at Bimble, Ky. Hampton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
