Belle Hubbard age 82 of Coles Branch , passed away on Friday, March 09, 2012,
at her home. She was the widow of Birchell Hubbard and the daughter of the late
Sam & Liza (Mills) Gambrel born to them on May 31, 1929 in Knox County.
Belle was a homemaker and a member of the Northside Baptist Church. Besides her parents & husband she was preceded in death by her grandparents Thomas & Elizabeth Mills and Anthony & Martha (Jones) Gambrel. Two Grandchildren Jason Ray Gray and Susan Riley. A son-in-law Lee Ray Gray, Five brother-in-laws Lark, Wesley, & Sam Hubbard, Jim Mills, and Frank Hays, Four sister-in-laws Cordie, Elsie, Genoa, and Belle. Mother & Father in-law Jessie & Samantha Hubbard.
Survivors include her three children Joyce Mills & husband CJ, Loretta Gray, and Mitchell Hubbard. One Brother Victor Jordan & wife Amanda. Six Grandchildren, two step- Grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren, and one on the way, seven step- Great Grandchildren, and three step- Great Great Grandchildren. Two aunts' Ellen Callebs & husband Lenville, and Nellie Gambrel. One Uncle John C. Gambrel. Three sister-in-laws Cathy Hubbard, Edna Mills and Martha Thomas, and one brother-in-law Howard Hubbard. Plus a host of other nephews and nieces, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hubbard will be conducted on Sunday, March 11th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Columbus Hensley & Rev. Tim Gray. Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great Grandson. Burial will follow in the Coles Branch Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
