Mrs. Beatrice Leath Brown age 73, of Dewitt, Ky, born November 5, 1933, in Knox County passes away Wednesday – January 24, 2007 at her home. Mrs.Brown was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Johnny Leath & Mrs Callie Gray. Mrs. Brown was previously married to Earl Bingham.
Mrs. Brown believed in the Baptist Faith, and was a member of the
Dewitt Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing her guitar and singing, she
also enjoyed Sewing and spending time with her family and friends. She
was employed by The Dollar General Store for 14 years. Survivors
include, one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Burnett and Husband Roy of Dewitt,
Ky. Two sisters Quillie Bingham, Walker, Ky, Joyce Brumett of Tazewell
TN One brother Johnny Leath, Jr and wife Jane of Hillsboro, Ohio. Three
GrandChildren Charles Baker and companion Carol of Walker, Ky.
Charlotte Burnett and
Husband Randy of Brice’s Creek, Ky. Brandon Ray Burnett of Dewitt, Ky.
Two Great Grandchildren, Victoria Maranda Baker, Charles Anthony Baker.
Two special Friends Shelia and Jerry Low of Morres Creek. And the
Hospice nurses. Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of the Hampton
Funeral Home Chapel on January 27, 2007, Saturday at 2:00 p.m. With
Rev. Earl Hammons and Rev. Donnie Mills officiating. Pallbearers will
be Charles Baker, Bobby Hensley, Rodney Leath, Rocky Leath. Interment
will be in the Binghamtown Cemetery with Hampton Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements. To the Brown family we the staff of the
