Beatrice Broughton

Mrs. Beatrice Broughton Age 78, of Hammond, KY passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in the U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was the widow of Leeman Broughton and the daughter of Hobart& Fannie Mills born to them on March 7th, 1931 in Knox Co.
Mrs. Broughton was a homemaker and a member of the Mills Missionary Baptist Church. She liked flowers, shopping, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hobert & Fannie Mills two infant twin sisters Mamie & Delany Mills and two grandchildren Kenny Jason Hinkle, and Michael Evert Broughton.
Left behind to mourn her passing is one son Wayne Broughton & wife Ruby of Flat Lick, KY, two daughters Judy Cobb and husband Tim of Gray, KY, and Joann Hinkle Manheim & husband Patrick of Las Vegas, NV, one brother J.H. Mills & wife Elaine of Loveland, Ohio, three grandchildren Lucas Wayne Broughton, Holly Beth Broughton, and Ashley Paige Cobb, a special friend and sister-in-law Forestine Mills, caregivers Georgie Mills, Ann Mills, and Karen Mills and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Broughton will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 12:00 Noon with the Rev. Charles Carnes officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Bright, Jonathon Metcalf, Don Mills, Dennis Mills, Christopher Broughton, Jeff Mills, Ernie Broughton, Brutus Metcalf, and Tim Davis.
The family will receive friends at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday evening (Weather parmitting )from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
