Audrey West

Mrs. Audrey West age 87 of Barbourville, KY departed this life on Thursday, August 6, 2009 in the Oak Tree Hospital in Corbin. She was the daughter of the late Grover & Nancy (Lickliter) Pope of Knox County born to them on April 3rd, 1921.
Mrs. West was a member of the Swan Pond Baptist Church, a retired Line Leader for the Kenner Toy Company, her hobbies were sewing, quilting, and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents Grover & Nancy Pope, four brothers Justin, Ike, Jack, and Glenn Pope, and one sister Grace Sergeant.
Left to mourn her passing is one son Andrew A. West Jr., & wife Sandra Sue of Columbus, Ohio, one daughter Janice West & husband Butch of Barbourville, KY, one brother Emitt Pope & wife Mary of Hilliard, Ohio, one sister Virginia Stahr of Maryville, Ohio, 5 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren, Mrs. West also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. West will be at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday – August 9th, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dennis Chesnut officiating. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery at Swan Pond. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 4:00 p.m.
