Anna Woolum

Mrs. Anna Mae Woolum age 85 of Cannon, KY departed this life on Sunday, August 2nd, 2009 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was the daughter of Charlie & Georgia (Collins) Boles of Knox County born to them on October 25th, 1923.
Mrs. Woolum was a homemaker and believed in the Holiness faith, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, cooking, collecting old coins and state quarters, and especially loved taking care of her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands , Allen Fuson & Reid Woolum, one son Donald Shelton, and two brothers Willie Boles & Johnny Boles.
Left to mourn her passing is one daughter Laverne Willis & husband David of Cannon, KY, four grandchildren Rebecca Willis, Stephanie Copper, David Allen Willis and Margaret Ann Charles, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Mrs. Woolum also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Woolum will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 5th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Glen Collins officiating. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Burial will follow in the Sowders Cemetery at Artemus, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
