Anna Sue (Baker) Roberts

Mrs. Anna Sue (Baker) Roberts age 80 of Maynardville, Tennessee departed this life on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville. She was the widow of Misch Casper Roberts and the daughter of Stanley and Dora (Brewer) Carnes, born on October 19, 1941, at Dewitt, Kentucky.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Misch Roberts , parents, Dora and Stanley Carnes, biological father Tom Baker.
Left behind to mourn her passing, four children, Melissa Williams and Celissa Bravo and husband Steve all of Maynardville, TN, Daniel Roberts and wife Julie of Williamsburg, KY, Samuel Drew Roberts and wife Christine of Severn, Maryland.
Other survivors include four sisters, Roxie Baker of Dry Prong, Louisiana , Alydia Jane Mills and husband Don of Corbin, Kentucky, Belinda Prichard and husband John Bill and Teresia Evans and husband Roger all of Barbourville, Kentucky and brother, Phillip Carnes of Walker Kentucky, eighteen grandchildren, Amber Williams, Bridgette Brinley and husband Casey, Dana Williams, Cameron Williams, Brittney Bravo, Devin Bravo, Aaron Bravo, Sarah Bravo, Jessica Bravo, Taylor Hall, Zarya Cobb, Masyn Cobb, Makayla Dixon and husband Bobby, Patryck Cobb, Jarrod Roberts, Kayla Roberts, Kyle Roberts and Kaden Roberts. Seven great-grandchildren, Payton, Hope, Axton, Kynlee, Ayden, Poppy and Rosalie. She also leaves behind her two best friends, Deanna Harmon and Deanna Crawford, along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including her special dog Babe.
Anna was a member of the Dewitt Baptist Church. She loved spending time with family. She enjoyed sewing, making baby blankets and Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. She loved traveling, estate sales, garage sales, baking, crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She enjoyed watching college basketball, riding her lawnmower, driving Saabs’ and drinking Mt. Dew.
Funeral services for Anna will be conducted on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shane Bingham officiating. Pallbearers will be, Casey Brinley, Cameron Williams, Devin Bravo, Aaron Bravo, Chris Brewer, John Prichard, Zach Earls and Grant Earls. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:30.
