Mrs. Aline (Doolin) Payne, age 82, of Cincinnati, Ohio, departed this life on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Jim and Arizona (Lundy) Doolin born to them on April 5, 1937. On February 10, 1955 she united in marriage with Harold Payne and to this union two children were born. Aline was a loving wife and mother and she loved spending time with all her family. Her favorite thing to do was drink Mountain Dew.
Her husband Harold preceded her in death on November 22, 1980. She was also preceded in death by her parents Jim and Arizona Doolin along with four brothers Larry Doolin, Sterling Doolin, Shirley Doolin and Herman Doolin, one sister Florence Hembree, her mother and father in law, Chester & Nannie Payne, a brother in law, Clifford Payne and a sister in law, Nola Williams.
Left behind to mourn her passing, one son Doug Payne and his wife Barbara of Pensacola, Florida, one daughter Raye Jean Davidson and husband Mark of Cincinnati, Ohio, five grandchildren Buddy Deller, Joe Deller and Jake Davidson all of Cincinnati, Ohio, CJ Payne and wife Amber of Columbia, South Carolina, and Randy Payne of Pensacola, Florida, three great grandchildren, Joey Deller , Christian Payne and Callie Payne and two "adopted" grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew, one brother, Terry Doolin and wife Maryetta of Barbourville, Kentucky, five sisters, Helen Abner and husband Bee of Heidrick, Kentucky, Anna Ruth Burnette of Heidrick, June Pickard and husband Don of Barbourville, Kentucky, Roetta Brock of Ohio, and Debra Soper and husband Richard of Heidrick, Kentucky, two sisters in law, Evelyn Miller of California and Irene Payne of Somerset, KY. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Payne will be conducted on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest in the Doolin Cemetery at Heidrick. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
