Mr. Alfred Eldridge age 69 of Artemus, KY passed away on Friday – August 28th, 2009 at his home he was born on November 8th, 1939 in Banks, KY to the late Matt & Ruby (Cole) Eldridge. He was the husband of Sue (Rice) Eldridge.

Alfred was a Army Veteran and a member of the Trosper Church of Christ, and a former Vending Supervisor for the Servormation Company. Alfred loved to Hunt, work, cook, read the Bible and spend time with his grandchildren.

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Matt & Ruby Eldridge. One brother Craig Eldridge, two sisters Willow Ray Sizemore, and Lana Hamilton.

Left behind to mourn his passing is his wife Sue Eldridge of Artemus, KY, one son Darren Eldridge & wife Barbara of Lily, KY, two daughters April Mills & husband
Tommy of Dewitt, KY, Serena Buchanan & husband Jimmy of Trosper, KY, three brothers Roland Eldridge & wife Kay of Dayton, Ohio, Rick Eldridge of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Mark Eldridge of Carlisle, Ohio, five sisters Shirley Holland & husband Steve of Miamisburg, Ohio, Glenda Dean & husband Bob, Myra Clarkson & husband Don both of Carlisle, Ohio, Linda Eagle and Marsha Donner & husband Rick of Franklin, Ohio, and Four Grandchildren. Mr. Eldridge also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Eldridge will be in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday – August 31st, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ralph Shaffer & Rev. Don Clarkson officiating. Pallbearers will be Rod Leddington, Bobby Cecil, Barry Cecil, Travis Cecil, Jimmy Buchanan, Tommy Mills, and Jerry Hamilton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Fredrick, Denver Leddington, Lonnie Rice, Dennis Rice, and Roy Sowders. Burial will follow in the Powers cemetery.

Friends may call at the Hampton Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
