Mrs. Alene Gray age 67, of Boone Height, Ky was born April 10, 1940, in Knox County, KY and departed This life on Monday – October 8, 2007 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Lester Jackson & Birdie (Longsworth) Jackson. Mrs. Gray had been a cashier for 20 years at Hobbs Department store in Barbourville, Ky. She was also a member of the Christian Life Fellowship Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by, One brother Harold Jackson, And One sister Norma Jean.
Survivors include: Her husband Ralph Gray, One son Mark and wife Shelia Gray of Boone Height, Ky., One daughter Michelle and husband Tony Yother of Boone Height, Ky., One Brother Wendell Jackson and wife Joann of Heidrick, Ky., Three sisters Helen Davis of Heidrick, Ky., Lois Prichard of Little Popular Creek, Ky., Zelma Stevenson of Stephen Trace. Two Grandchildren: Ryan Yother, Avery Yother. Mrs. Gray also leaves behind a host of Relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Alene Gray will be conducted on Thursday-October 11,2007 At 1:00 p.m. in The Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Shelton, Rev Jimmy Lee, & Rev Silvester Dunn officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary Hamilton, Mike McDonald, Timothy Jackson, Keith, Derick & Daniel Johnson. Interment will be in the Doolin Cemetery at Heidrick, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
