Mrs. Addie Mae Patterson age 87 of Rockholds, KY departed this life on Monday, October 19, 2009 at her home. She was the widow of Dempsey Patterson and the daughter of John Harve Edmonson and Florida (Webb) Edmonson. She was born in Bell Co., KY on November 22, 1921. She was a homemaker and believed in the Holiness faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Florida Edmonson, her husband Dempsey Patterson, one daughter, Lois Patterson, two brothers, James and Frank Edmonson and two sisters, Dora lee Wilder and Leora Alford.
Left behind to mourn her passing is two daughters, Mildred Eldridge of Massachusetts and Cindy Elliott and husband Glen of Corbin, Six sons, John Patterson and wife Martha of Corbin, J.D. Patterson and wife Barb of Pineville, Danny Patterson of Corbin, Billy Patterson and wife Brenda of Corbin, KY, Randall Patterson and wife Flora of Rockholds, Stanley Patterson and wife Valene of Barbourville, three brothers, Percey Edmonson and wife Carol of Greasy Creek, Perry Edmonson and wife Laura of Pineville, Ike Edmonson and wife Mae of Greasy Creek. She also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren along with a host of other relative and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Mae Patterson will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in the Mills Cemetery at Greasy Creek. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be all family and friends. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the Hampton Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 noon.
