Mrs. Ada E. (Killion) Davis age 82 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Germantown, Ohio. She was born October 16, 1931 in Barbourville, KY to Benjamin Killion and Flora (Woolum) Killion. Ada attended Knox Co. Schools here in KY and worked for several years and candy maker for Esther Price. Later she solidified her career retiring after thirty years with General Motors as an automotive painter. Ada regularly attended Miami Shores Baptist Church and enjoyed shopping, her close friends and long road trips.
She is preceded in death by her parents and by her husband of over thirty five years Bill V. Davis, two sons Alan and Jeffrey Davis and six siblings.
She is survived by her other children, Kathy Hamm and husband David of West Carrollton and Michael Davis and wife Beth of Cincinnati, her grandchildren, Drew, Meghan and Eli, her siblings, Herbert Killion, Kenneth Killiam and wife Jean and Brenda Mays all of Barbourville, her friend William Burke of Germantown as well as numerous extended family and many special friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home in Miamisburg, Ohio from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday at Hampton Funeral Home in Barbourville, KY the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery at Brush Creek. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all local arrangements.
