Mr. Abe Junior Jackson age 52 of Kings Mills, Ohio formerly of Knox Co., departed this life on Monday, September 3, 2007 at his home. He was the son of Abe Jackson and Lucy Payne born to them on March 19, 1955 in Pineville, KY. Mr. Jackson was of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Jackson’s parents and one sister Louise Shadd preceded him in death.
Survivors for Mr. Jackson include his wife Judy of Kings Mills, OH, three sons Junior Ray Jackson and wife Pam of Road Fork, KY, Mike Burt Jackson and wife Amanda of Artemus, KY and Abe Clinton Jackson of Artemus, KY. Three step children Tony Moore of Middletown, OH, Bridgett Turner and husband Michael of South Lebanon, OH and Clarissa Moore of South Lebanon, OH. Five sisters: Martha Marie Washam and husband Jim of Flat Lick, KY, Lucy Mae Mills and husband Frank of Cannon, KY, Stella Mae Davis and husband John of Oak Hill, OH, Nada June Gray and husband Chris of Flat Lick, KY and Beatrice Cox and husband Kenneth of Knoxville, TN. Grandchildren Caitlyn Rae Jackson, Kelsey Lynn Jackson, Nicole Alexandra Jackson, Cody Christopher Jackson and Sarah Danielle Jackson. Step grandchildren: Amber Beltz, Ashley Martin, Shannon Martin, Eddie Moore, Jr., Trevor Moore and Tony Moore, Jr. and two great grandchildren Tanner Beltz and Christian Martin. Mr. Jackson also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews to mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Jackson will be conducted on Friday-September 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Frazier and Rev. Ray Napier officiating. Pallbearers will be Richard Evans, Jr., Ernie Evans, Kenneth Cox, Bobby Washam, James Washam and David Washam. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery at Flat Lick, KY. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
